Varsha Vyas
Born and brought up in Mumbai, Varsha has been creatively inclined since childhood. A graduate in Textiles, she has been actively involved in fine art since her college days. Varsha first exhibited in 2005, in a group show at The Museum Gallery, Mumbai. Since then, it has been an enchanting & enriching journey in the world of Art. Varsha has a number of solo, two person & group shows, to her credit. She has exhibited in some of the most esteemed Galleries in Mumbai and around India. Varsha’s love for nature, animals & adventure is evident in her paintings. Having started her artistic journey by mastering realistic portraits in charcoals and soft pastels, her confidence is visible in each and every painting she creates. She is among the few artists who use the tedious technique of POINTILLISM. Varsha’s paintings exert a sense of positivity, vibrancy, rhythm & harmony. Her love for exploring new media & subjects has led her to create a series of abstracts for this show. A different style, a new technique… .but the rhythm & positivity is there for all to see.
